The best way to track investment performance is to compute an annualized return. However, this task becomes difficult when complicated by taxes, fees, dividends, and trading activity. The following calculator makes calculating yields easy;  it computes the before and after tax yield for an investment with an unlimited amount of trading activity.

First, enter the beginning and ending dates of the time period you wish to analyze. You must also enter the total portfolio value on those dates. Next, enter your trading activity during that period, including taxes, fees and dividends.
